LANGUAGE AND COMMUNICATION SKILL
Department of English offers many programmes to build language and communication skills of its students, both at UG and PG level and for students of all streams. Communication skills in English, Punjabi and Hindi enrich the students by making them proficient in such languages.Language lab is used by the faculty to teach the subjects of Personality Development and Communication Skills. It is equipped with the latest technology for intensive training of the students for their correct pronunciation, correct pause and stress, role play and so on.Most of the successful persons maintain a unique style by speaking clearly and convincingly. They earn laurels and respect for their good command on the language which they speak. Our effort is to help our students speak and write grammatically good language with accurate pronunciation. We strongly believe that Speaking and writing power is an essential trait of a good personality. Our courses have a sole focus on teaching the students how to collect information, decide what to write, organize and sort information, structure, layout & cohesion, grammar, functions and vocabulary, style, clarity and tone and how to review and evaluate.
